Setting Goals Learning to Focus

Everyone sets goals if they are aware of it or not.  Goals can be set for getting something accomplished in an hour, a day, a week, or longer.   They can be short-term or stretched out for years.

Making them can be from setting a daily to do list, planning a party, to setting up a business.  Where do you want to be, what do you want to do, where in life do you want to go?

Setting goals is harder than you think!  It is a mindset that you need to train over and over till you have it in your subconscious.  You need to have a focus, and a clear object of what you are going to accomplish.  Can you see it?  Is it right in front of you?

I recently had someone help me with that, he is a wonderful leader and he lays it out to make you feel it.  You are in a trance, closing your eyes and see it, then writing it down so you can read it out load, is so more than just doing it all yourself.  It is your goal, your vision, your dream.   But having someone show you and teach you how to lay it out is more than I could ask for.

Learning to Focus

Learning how to get that focus and setting goals is one of the most important things you can do.  It is a skill that needs practice, think about it as exercising your brain.  Brain exercises are just as important as any other muscle in your body.  Train it right and it will be strong and focused for you through many obstacles and dips in the road.

Goals can be used as tools to lead yourself into whatever you are going after.  If you learn to lead yourself then you are ready to lead others.   Set your goals high; go for things you want, even if you never thought you could have it.   If you believe it hard enough and set the goal to see it in front of you then it will happen.

Be true to yourself and let yourself dream.    Don’t be stuck in the doom and gloom.  If you want the goal and the change,   go for it.   I am.   I am learning how to set, how to plan, how to grow and you can too.

It is not just a decision to make, it’s a choice.  Turn your goals into something real, something you really want.   This should be pulled out of the back of your head, deep down in your gut, from under your feet if you have to go that far.   Dig deep, and really grasp what it is that you are trying to accomplish.  Make it real and lay it out in a way to get your outcome.

Let’s learn how to smile through adversity. Life changes all the time, some good and some bad.

Look around, there are many things for you to ponder on and read.

Life changes all the time, some good and some bad.  However, most of it we can control or adapt to as we grow.   Then there are moments that are of the unknown.

Dealing with children, aging parents, dementia and cancer of a loved one, you tend to know change well.  In other words, if you learn to accept it and know that it is coming, it won’t hit you so hard.

Adversity comes in many forms and people handle it all different.  Adversity can be more than just difficulty or setback.   It can form a series of misfortunes that keep you from achieving lifes adventures or finding happiness. Everyone experiences adversity at some point, yet with hard work and the right mindset it can be overcome. 

Regardless of your situation, you do have a choice to either let adversity define you or you define it.   I am here to help you smile through your journey of adversity and teach you create the power to overcome pain and work through it to the other side.
