Have you ever asked yourself what kind of person are you are talking to? What is the purpose of your message? Are you building a friendship or are you just collecting names?
What is your purpose?
Depending on what you are selling or sharing, that can answer a lot of those types of questions, but I am here to tell you, if you want returning customers and loyal friends you need to build relationships and partners, not just names.
“People that pay for things never complain. It’s the guy you give something to that you can’t please.”
Will Rogers
When someone is used to always getting things, they get that in their head and never seem to be satisfied. They want it to work and think that if it doesn’t then you need to give more until it does. These people are lazy and its hard to get them to work.
On the other hand, if you set out value with a price, people have to invest their time and effort because the paid money for it. You get better quality and more of an outcome. Thus, hard-working people and truer friends.
“A business that makes nothing but money is a poor business”
Henry Ford
If you wanted to start a business of your own and your main purpose is just to get money, then you are already failing. To make money online takes people and a lot of people, not money. You will succeed far more than others if you have a good following and a lot of partners.
“To us, family means putting your arms around each other and being there”
Barbara Bush
Families don’t just live in one household. They can be in work places, a good neighborhood, a church and online. Building a good relationship with your team and your friends, online and off can be a great support tool for you to grow in many ways.
