How I Used A Fresh Perspective to Create My Goals

A Fresh Perspective.  Instead of approaching the day as a blank page that you need to fill up, try living it in a responsive mode: being on the lookout for all the wonderful signs given in front of you. This sounds easy, but it requires a deep level of trust, based on the knowledge that is there to guide you. Your affirmations will come true if you believe and they are approached correctly.

Knowing that your future is absolutely assured, can free you to live abundantly today. The Lord has prepared this day for you with the most tender concern and attention to detail. Have you set your goals?

What do I mean by setting your goals?

We all have things that we want, and things that we desire. But, getting there and really having it can be a whole different story.   Have you set your goals?

I have learned that goals need to be precise and able to recite back so easily that a child can understand what it is that you are striving for. They need to have distinct qualities and other meaning that will motivate and get you going everyday till they are met.

Law #25 Re-Create Yourself

“Do not accept the roles that society foists on you. Re-create yourself by forging a new identity, one that commands attention and never bores the audience. Be the master of your own image rather than letting others define it for you. Incorporate dramatic devices into your public gestures and actions, your power will be enhanced and your character will seem larger than life.”

To get to your goals and to become known as a leader you must learn to enlarge your actions through dramatic techniques such as surprise, suspense, the creation of sympathy, and symbolic identification. What is it that you represent?

Fresh Perspective

You must constantly be aware of your audience, of what will please them and what will bore them. You must arrange to place yourself at the center, to command attention, and never to be upstaged at any cost.

The character you seem to have been born with is not necessarily who you are; you need to look beyond what you inherited, and from what your parents, your friends, your peers, and your circumstances of life have helped shaped into your personality.

The task of the powerful is to take control of that process, to stop allowing others the ability to limit and/or mold those traits. Remake yourself into a character of power. Working yourself like clay to create the masterpiece that you want out of life.

Setting goals is a very important part of working for yourself. It keeps your motivation, it sets you up for the win at the end. Everyone likes to win.

What does your trophy look like?

Why are you doing?

Here are some steps to creating a great goal.   I will give you a start….

  1. Stating your name. I ……………..
  2. Where are you at; (Sitting at your desk at home, or on your porch looking out at the landscape.)
  3. What is the date;   (how far in the future are you going to reach this goal) 90 days is a good time frame.
  4. What do you ………………..
  5. ……………….
  6. ………………..

Your whole world will be different. You will see yourself in a whole new light.

Learn to say “Goodbye” to the self-sabotaging beliefs that have been holding you back from the life you deserve…..

Say “goodbye” to the naysayers who say “come back to reality, it’s only a pipe dream”…

Say “goodbye” to the little voice of doubt in your head that will question what you are doing….

Say “goodbye” to your old life and say “HELLO” to the new one that you deserve and desire.

Learn to be ready

Sandy

Love this post Sandy. I’m a real goals girl. I love the whole process from the initial idea, setting the goal and getting it from my head and onto paper and of course actually achieving the goal.
