If Money is only a Tool, then why does it lead you? Money is only a value for what it stands for. When you say you have no money, does that mean you value yourself less? We are all priceless and if you try to put a price on life then what are you living for?
Money is emotional and will take you nowhere.
Use the tool like it is meant to be used. Look at what you have and ask yourself “when I bought that, what value to ME did it give”? Is it self-worth and makes you feel better? Is it self-care and makes you healthier? Or is it self-love? Do you value your life, or your goodwill?
Most of the time when we spend our money we do not think about how we spend it. You seem to pick up the same things at the grocery store, you pay for the roof over your head and the electricity bill; but, do you think about the value that this will give you. Probably not. What about that pair of shoes that you just had to have. Or the vacation membership that you never use.
When I went looking for a second income it was because I needed more money! I thought that if I just got another job that would help cover the bills. Everything I ran into was buy this or buy that. The free things out there were a lot of work and time (that I didn’t have) and then come to find out that they only pay pennies for hours of work. If you wanted to see the big bucks you needed to what? Spend money.
As my journey kept going I realized that I needed to change my focus about what money was and my energy to come into reality.
Money is only a Tool! You Fill in the Rest!
I stood back and gave myself a good look. I looked around and asked many questions of why I wanted to do something like this, and if this was something that I wanted for my family. I needed to learn how to create money using my money. Let money work for you.
“Money has never made man happy, nor will it, there is nothing in its nature to produce happiness. The more of it one has the more one wants.
Benjamin Franklin”
Your energy to make decisions comes from your inner core, your inner self-worth.
Get clear – tell the truth – say it out loud – and make it happen.
When you say you have no money that becomes your enemy. Learning how to concur that enemy is going to help you grow and get rich in many ways. Financially and spiritually.
“By acknowledging a petty problem you give it existence and credibility. The more attention you pay an enemy, the stronger you make him; and a small mistake is often made worse and more visible when you try to fix it. It is sometimes best to leave things alone. If there is something you want but cannot have, show contempt for it. The less interest you reveal, the more superior you seem.” (Law #36, The 48 Laws of Internet)
When you perceive money as an object instead of a tool, it becomes more like of a type of being. It leads you and you start depending upon it. Your focus is only in one place, money. You start doing things around it and lose your initiative to be yourself. It brings on anger, and resentment. You end up owing more than you have.
The more you want something, the more you chase after it, the more it eludes you. Your interest is too strong, it makes others fearful and run away. If you halt and turn around then you are in control, you will lure them in. Money will come and find you.
“Turn your focus and energy around, learn how to use the tool to your advantage and it will bring you good fortune. Do not play on your emotions, but use them to gain the upper hand.”
Listen to Kate explain how to change your view about money and where your focus should be:
- We often divide our financial life from our spiritual practice, especially in times of financial turbulence. In her Speakeasy talk entitled, “It’s Spiritual to Be Rich,” Kate Northrup shares her personal struggle with finances, how she finally paid off her debts, and tips on how to achieve financial freedom and happiness.”Money is simply about value. It’s about what we value, and how we value ourselves….If you are feeling like you are not receiving enough value in the world, it is probably because you are not giving open heartedly — that you’re not giving as much value as you could in as creative ways as you possibly could be doing.””What you want to think about and ask yourself and actually feel when making a purchase or looking through your bank statement is ‘Did I feel expansive when I made that purchase? Or did I feel did I feel contracted?’ That one tool — that one conscious practice, tapping into you as a spiritual being will change your financial life. “”If you want to attract more financial abundance, you need to draw your attention to what you already have, which is why checking our bank account every morning really makes sense — putting attention on what we already have. Giving gratitude for what we already have is like fertilizer, it just makes it expand, it just makes it grow.”Kate Northrup is a professional freedom seeker and creative entrepreneur. She created financial freedom for herself at the age of 28 through building a team of more than 3,000 wellness entrepreneurs in the network marketing industry. Her philosophy is that if you free yourself financially you can be fully present to your purpose on the planet. Take off your collar and use the tool for its purpose.
I now realize where my focus should be and that I do not want to place a value on myself. I am priceless and so are you.
If tragedy were to strike you or your family right now, what would you do? Come to reality and say “Now is my Time” Learn how to invest in yourself. Take money out of its being. Focus on your faith and gain a new perspective on your life. Enabling you to distinguish between what is important and what is not.
Do not let money lead you to a path of destruction, come and learn how to grow as a person and in turn your financial status. See what gives you value and happiness, and that is what you should be spending your money on. Do not think that you are not enough and can’t deserve it! That is money talking. Take gratitude in yourself and gain the freedom from choices that you make and do not be led down your path by money.
Money is only a tool. It will take you wherever you wish, but it will not replace you as the driver.
Money is only a tool, Do not let it lead you!
