What do you do when you see a sign that says: “It’s free”? Do you run right over and look at what it is or do you walk away and say “oh that’s junk”?
Think of the last time you really got some good for free? A prime example is when you go looking for deals online or looking to get into programs that will increase what you are trying to do! You have seen all these free sites telling you that you can make money on this free system!
It’s Free
I have had moments when it was free to me, but I know that someone gave it to me or paid my way. Free is not the word I would use! If you truly want something or want something to happen you will find the money to get it.
“What is offered for free is dangerous; it usually involves either a trick or a hidden obligation. What has worth is worth paying for. By paying your own way you stay clear of gratitude, guilt, and deceit. It is also often wise to pay the full price; there are no cutting corners with excellence. Be lavish with your money and keep it circulating, for generosity is a sign and a magnet for power.”

Lets be honest with ourselves, have you ever truly gotten something good for free? It cost somebody something. You either had a favor owed or in turn you need to give something back. What truly makes a free lunch?
Things in this world are judged by their worth or by its cost. Being open and flexible with money also teaches the value of strategic generosity, kind of like “giving when you are about to take”. Generosity softens people up to be deceived. By giving, you win the generosity of others while distracting them from your power play. A trick in selling.
Ways of Being Free
When you learn how to play with money and use it to your advantage, you will see how it can be used to gain strength and knowledge through creativity and strategy. There are keys in this power to watch out for though. They are groups of people that are locked in the self-destructive refusal to use money.
- The Greedy Fish. All they see is the balance sheet. They are lured by the bait of easy money for they spend so much time dealing with numbers that they become blind to the psychology of the worth.
- The Bargain Demon. Money should be judged by more than just what it cost. Money is also time, dignity, and peace of mind. The Bargain Demon can not see that. They waste time digging for bargains, they worry that they didn’t get that coupon or someplace else could have had it for a little less. Or they buy something that needs repairs or is shabby and end up costing them more in the long run.
- The Sadist. They play power games with money. They hold out paying money that is owed and then give false promises. Saying its in the mail. They think that if they pay for something it gives them the right torture and abuse the seller.
- The Indiscriminate Giver. This type will be generous, because they want to be loved. They think they are special because they gave you something. Everything has an emotion attached to it and separation is not included.
Have you come across one or two of these keys? I know I have, I was even in a few of them. Money can have a powerful force on people and how it is used. The powerful never forget that what is offered for free is inevitably a trick. Friends who offer favors without asking for payment will later want something far dearer than the money you would have paid them.
Are you looking to get more money. Well yes aren’t we all. Money is great yo have, it can take you to places you want to go. But watch out, money can be deceitful It can be used to swindle and is a con man’s dream. Beware, that you can’t really get something for nothing. Greed does not pay, you will only wind up being the sucker.
Now that you know what money is don’t let it be your burden or your name sake. Invest in yourself and use it for what it was intended to be used for.
