Fear keeps us stuck in the past, but imagination pushes us forward into a better future! What gave you the courage to start living your dreams? Find the one direction that brings your closer.
What is one thing you can do to create the closer relationships to your family and God? Does it bring you closer to your goals, or drive you in a new direction?
One day at work I was struggling, I was frustrated, mad, disappointed, and you name it, it was just one of those days. So I sat back and said “you know what! I need a change, or something to give me that kick everyday”. So I went searching. Finding that one thing in that one direction.
Have your found that one thing yet?
When I was looking, I wanted to find something that I could make me happy, set me on the right path. I had millions of choices to pick from, but which one and how would I know it would work. What direction was I going? Most people around me said it’s a scam, it won’t work, and nobody can rely on anything like that. Well I was not going to let fear keep me stuck in the past. I told myself to jump in and go for it.
Start by doing what’s necessary; then do what’s possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible.
The internet nowadays is great. It brought my search to a company that teaches inspiration and dream catching. Now you might say who would pay for that? Well, come to find out a lot of people. See it’s not really what they sell; it’s how the message comes across.
That was one of the best things I have done. For someone who is fifty some years old and kind of in her groove, I can learn new things. It has giving me inspiration, motivation, and a better outlook on the things around me. The training this company is gave me, yes it changes all the time, from old stories to new ones. These are other people just like you and me.
When you grow up in the age where there are no computers and you had to be creative on your own, you cleaned your room more often, you baked in the kitchen, outside was where I was a lot. I grew up on a wheat farm in the northwestern part of the country.
My friends were all long distance and mother wouldn’t let me spend money to call them, so I dreamed a lot. My college days were great, meeting people from all over the country, and now, WOW, using the internet I am meeting people all over the world. My social skills and writing skills are improving because I now have a different outlook on life. You could say I am trying to find my “Niche”.
One Direction
What is that one thing that I found to bring me closer. TIME! I give more time to my family and God through my writing and including them in whatever I am doing.
Talk about a new kick every day. I am always looking for new people, new things to write about and most important, a happy and energized way of life.
