What Does Culture Mean | Culture of Transformation

Culture of Transformation is something we don’t think about.  I want to ask you what culture you have, and what does culture means to you?

You know, the way of life for a group of people–the behaviors, beliefs, values, and symbols that they accept, generally without thinking about them, and that are passed along by communication and imitation from one generation to the next.  Culture determines what is acceptable or unacceptable, important or unimportant, right or wrong, workable or unworkable.

What culture do you fit in?     Do you Define Age or Status?  Check out this post.

Culture of Groups and Businesses

Culture is where you are in the groove of life.

……Do you have a culture to help people transform  in how they want life to be?

…….Do you have a culture to help people transform through personal development, coaching and mentoring?

…….Do you have a culture to help people transform by creating something that keeps them free.

…….Do you have a culture to help people transform by helping them profit big, profit fast, and profit sustainability.

The culture you were most likely born into was:   you go to school, then off to college, get a job, collect retirement (if you have any) then where’s your life gone, what do you have to show for it?

How did you transform?

What is it that we all try to look for?

Is it the keys to a better future?

A key to a successful life and to live on our own?

When you are little, what is it that we all think about?  What am I going to do when I grow up!  A dream?  I thought that was what we all needed to do, grow up dreaming.  We didn’t have success on our mind.  We didn’t think about the failures, the challenges or other things that come about. We just looked ahead at what we wanted.

Now that I am a lot older, I have been learning that success is something you attract, not something you pursue.   What do I mean by that?  keep reading……..

Culture of organizations

…………….Do you fit into the culture that your job gives you?

…………….Does your work give you the culture that you are looking for?

…………….Are you pursuing or being attractive?

Yay or Nay?  Can you create my own culture, yet be in a culture with others wanting the same thing.!  Something that gives a reason to grow, a reason to look forward to tomorrow.

How do you define your culture. This can include everything that gives a society its identity, which would include such things as language, beliefs, values, customs, laws, cuisine, etc.

What is fascinating about cultures is that each culture, no matter where it is located, shares at least five basic characteristics. The five basic characteristics that all cultures share are that they are learned, shared, based on symbols, integrated, and dynamic.

To read more:  http://study.com/academy/lesson/the-five-basic-characteristics-of-cultures.html

The Five Basic Characteristics

Learned:    My culture teaches others mindset and personal power

Shared:     My culture shares our stories and our ideas to help others grow

Symbols:    My culture has a blog, it has tools to work with

Integrated:    My culture teaches focus and drive

Dynamic:  My culture changes with the times,  changes with the world and the systems around you.  Always creating something new to get excited about.

A culture that has been a change, a culture that has helped me find what I like!  This culture has helped me find me again, not just the culture of where I’ve been and what job I’ve had! …  Or  …   Not the one that told me how to raise my kids.

I want to have a life where I’m not just making it day by day, I’m not just paying the bills and keeping house one month to the next month.  I want to have a culture where life comes to me by transforming the lives of others.   Isn’t that what life was meant to be?

Is that what you are looking for too?  Have you reached your purpose,  or does the culture around you transform and give you a chance to find your purpose?  I know this is deep, yet things are growing all around us and where is the culture?  Where is our status?  Are you feeling lost?

So, I wanted to pass this on, deep deep inside of me I want to help others do that.   From their own passion they will find how to create a culture of growth and prosperity.

I want to ask you a question?

How is your day going?

What do you have to show for it?

Think about it,

Sandy

I loved this. I believe culture is important but I think there is a reason why God created us so different. We don’t have to be like everyone else and it is okay to be different, step out of our comfort zone, and succeed.

I used to be a media specialist for a major corporate retailer in one of their local distribution centers. My main job was as keeper of the culture and brand, making sure all communication fit the guidelines of our values and helping to establish a strong team. Defining culture is important in developing a team or tribe. I love that even working from home CULTURE is available to us. Thank you Sandy.

Oh that is great. I have always been a numbers person and have an accounting background. What I have found with my blogging business is that I lost part of my self and now want to also help others have a strong voice. Great cause.

We live in a world where culture can shape and define us, but we also hold the power to change that. When I was growing up all I ever wanted to do was study psychology, and I did that; but life also took me on a path of true crime and helping those who otherwise would not have the voice to do so.

Helen, It got me thinking when I was reading my notes from the last event. It was talking about the culture of our industry. Yes we do have a culture here and we are part of something.
