Have you ever lost a day, a week or a month? You get a little bit of momentum, you seem to be on a roll and have it all going for you and all of a sudden, you get distracted by this or that. And what happens, the day is gone!
Oh, you know what I mean.
… Somebody drops by the house.
… Someone suggests that you go to the
movies.
… The house needs cleaned.
… The kids need your help.
… can you name a few more???
Break in Your Goals

That has happened for the whole week for me. I lost the entire week!
So, I had to decide to get rid of distractions and be absolutely focused. I encourage you to do the same.
Focus each day on what you want to accomplish for the day.
Put your blinders on, set a timer and if you find yourself getting off track like you can so easily in Facebook, stop it! And get back to the work you need.
Move Distractions
If you find yourself distracted here or there by something that isn’t moving you closer to your goals, stop it! And focus specifically on the task that you need to get accomplished for that day.
Write down 1, 2, or 3 things that you want to get accomplished that day, and focus completely in order to make it happen. It shouldn’t take you but an hour or two, and you are done.
So, turn off this email, write down three things you need to accomplish today, and don’t let anything get in your way. Get it done. Make it happen. Focus.
