Fight Amongst Ourselves To Grow

What does it mean when we say we “Fight Amongst Ourselves”?  It’s not that we are physically beating ourselves, but we are mentally doing it.

We are our biggest enemies, and we fight amongst ourselves more than anyone else.  However there is a way to stop the war and come to a solution.

Learn from your fight

Learning about what life is all about is an ongoing thing.  We always need to expand our minds, but we need to master our inner world before we can totally grasp what is outside.   For instance, you know what you want and when it doesn’t happen you start to blame everything else.

Problem with that is you didn’t look at the self-doubt that creeps in and you forget mistakes you made before.   When we learn to recognize the real threat, you find you are the only one holding you back.

Build from your fight

This is where you have to know what you are up against.  In other words, the enemy and competition is YOU. You need to start to defeat what you have already done and make it better.  Changing the habits that you have formed from previous mistakes.

You are not going to grow if you only out do the little things.   Take what you know and do it better than you did last time. For instance, when you come across things throughout your day, strive to make it better and better.  

Look back on your life and see how far you have come and what you have made it through.  Use that to find your strength and keep growing. Stay away from saying “I can’t” for it will hold you back.  There are things that you might not want to do, the feeling of accomplishment afterwards makes the fight all worthwhile.

Grow from your fight

Preparing for the fight to come makes us realize that the things you’re accomplishing today against your past self, will one day be your next fight.    The Fight Amongst Ourselves is never ending.   It isn’t something we adapt to easily and when our mind wanders and we say “better luck next time”   we have lost that battle.

The mental fight can creep up on us all the time.  Instead let’s live in a life that encourages you to do it now, to your best ability.  Because one day all of what you’ve done, you will be able to do again, even better.

Let’s learn how to smile through adversity. Life changes all the time, some good and some bad.

Look around, there are many things for you to ponder on and read.

Life changes all the time, some good and some bad.  However, most of it we can control or adapt to as we grow.   Then there are moments that are of the unknown.

Dealing with children, aging parents, dementia and cancer of a loved one, you tend to know change well.  In other words, if you learn to accept it and know that it is coming, it won’t hit you so hard.

Everyone experiences adversity at some point, yet with hard work and the right mindset it can be overcome.
