When Life Throws Lemons Write A Perfect Day. When life throws lemons, write a perfect day to bring you a smile. It is your choice on how you see the world and if you are unhappy.
Throw Lemons Away
How to write a perfect day doesn’t have to be rocket science. For instance, it’s just you talking about how your day starts, and flows to the end. We all have pictures of the way a good day would go, so why not write it down and make it happen. Oh, I know I heard some buts! Those are the excuses we give ourselves.
The excuses come from the tired and laziness of the boring days we tend to live on a daily basis. In other words, before I did this exercise I had a humdrum robot lifestyle.
Perfect Day Nitty Gritty
Here is what mine would look like. Do you start to see how you can create your own? For instance, I want you to get an idea of how yours can look.
“As I open my eyes, a refreshing feeling comes over me. Even though my bed is so comfy and soft, I want to get the day started. It is going to be a great day. I love the morning fresh air. Strolling toward the kitchen to start the coffee, I see all the things I dreamed of come to life, I can’t wait to explore new adventures. I love my lifestyle, it stems from my passion that puts a smile on my face all the time. Back down the hall to find some clothes, let’s see ….. What to wear? Not a hard decision, having a closet full of things I like to wear, I can pick anything and it will work. Oh, I smell the coffee. Not really needing it, just a taste will do.
Now around the corner to my office to set my intentions, again not hard. My goal is right on track. Helping others see life through their own eyes, giving them a way to start dreaming again and seeing it come to life. The inspiration lights up the room. As I log into the computer and check all the activity that happened through the night, I smile even bigger as the numbers grow, what fun. Checking a little farther and sipping on my coffee I see I have wonderful comments to answer from my latest posts. It is nice to see how others received my work.
Slip Away
I hear a stir in the house, others are getting up and the dog strolls in to see what I am up to. I guess it is time to get to work. Grabbed my phone and headed outside off the front deck where I can see the horizon. The morning is bright and mother nature is talking back. I love the peaceful sounds from the mountain top. A great place for inspiration.
I have created a great video and content to add to my blog for the day, head back down the hall and gather a picture to publish this wonderful post. As I wander back I grab another cup of coffee and some granola, oh yum.
Ok, took me 20 minutes to write it out, upload and hit the publish button. My post is done, and emails sent. Now one more thing. I grab the microphone and share my inspiration for my morning podcast. To all my listeners, inspiration to start their day. Checking my schedule for who to inspire and calls to make. Work is done.
What now, I have the rest of the day to enjoy. Quite a choice, Do I want to play, shop and have fun? How about plan a trip somewhere, or sit and enjoy what the world has for us.”
Writing A Perfect Day
Like I said it’s not rocket science, just grab a piece of paper and a pen and just start with the first thing you see. Even so, it might show you other ways to do things.
Or, I worked with someone on this a different way. I made her write down everything that happened as she went through her day. Right down to the fine details. Then I had her read it to see what she would change or just crumple it up and throw it away.
It was eye opening and a great start to her lifestyle change. It brings a smile on your face when you add things to your day that make you happy and avoid the things that make you sad.
I know that sad things are going to come. I had plenty of days like that, but working around them or through them to get back on track makes it even more of a blessing. In other words, you are becoming aware of how you can change the way your day goes. Ending it on an up beat.
Ending A Perfect Day
Every day could be a perfect day if we choose to make it happy. When life throws lemons, writing a perfect day will bring you a smile. It is your choice on how you see the world and if you are unhappy, find things that can turn that frown upside down. Hence, how to write a perfect day is what you make it.
Keep smiling
Sandy
