Woke up at the dreaded 3AM
Woke up at the dreaded 3AM. What is it about that hour that seems to appear.
Dreaded 3 AM
We have been working on a project and complications have come upon us. I woke up with a realization that things were even worse. I thought maybe reading would help… NO, just got me thinking more.
Good book though, it was talking about life and the things we need to let go of. In other words, things we need to learn to set down and leave behind.
This feeling that woke me up has been nagging me for half a day. I feel something I can’t explain. LOST – VULNERABLE – have I made a mistake and not sure how to fix it. Hence, I hate that feeling!
Ever since I was scammed, I have been guarded, but this time it was all me. No other foul play, just decisions I didn’t think through.
I need to think of how to fix or let go so I can move on or at least go back to sleep. Problem is at 3 AM not much can be done. It’s going to be a long day.
Woke Up Just Wanting To Sleep
Since I was awake I looked up the issue at 3 AM. For instance, have you ever googled it?
It turns out that waking up in the middle of the night isn’t uncommon. Yet, If you wake up at 3 a.m. or another time and can’t fall right back asleep, it may be for several reasons. These include lighter sleep cycles, stress, or underlying health conditions.
I found that these symptoms can be the cause.
Stress
Insomnia
Aging
Medications
And other health conditions. This article explains it well.

Time to Get Some Shut Eye
Want to know how I got back to sleep? Beside reading, I wrote down my thoughts to get them out of my head.
That’s right, writing them out gives you solutions or for me I come up with good ideas to tackle my problem and I don’t want to forget them. Always keeping a tablet and pencil by the bed has helped me many times.
The dreaded 3 AM comes to many of us, and I won’t say it will be my last. Creating a life can be complicated, yet when we look at it a little differently we can get a good night’s sleep.
Keep Smiling
Sandy.
