Fear Drives Holes In Your Chapters

Fear Drives Holes In Your Chapters

Fear can have many meanings when you sit and analyze it.  However, fear drives holes in your chapters of life when it consumes you.

Your Chapters

Have you ever sat down and looked at your life and wondered?   It can be astonishing what it shows.  For instance, each chapter you travel through will form the way you act, and treat others.

To be clear, I am not a doctor or a specialist of any kind. I just have many years of learning and knowledge of being fearful and vulnerable.  Hence, I want you to start thinking and challenging yourself to live the best life you can.

Let’s put it all out on the table and learn how you can stand up to fear, then start to see some of the holes it has created and think about how to fill them.  Shall we begin?

Driving Holes

Where does fear come from?

Fear of getting out of your comfort zone or being pushed.

Fear of getting hurt, physically or mentally.

Also, fear of things you know that are coming yet you do not want to face them.

There are other areas in my blog where you can see I have faced many kinds of adversity.  However, now that I look back, I can see that what knocks you down will also be the same thing that forces you back up.

Life has a way of teaching us things that we will need to know in the future.  We just don’t know it yet.  Hence, I now treat fear as a challenge.

Oh, I still have many fears, yet I look at them differently.  When the feeling overcomes me, I try to look at the whole picture and see why I fear it.  Some are logical and some are just plain stupid.

Tools For You to Gather

Filling Holes

I was reading the other day and came across something that stuck.  The author said, you can never be whole until you get up close and personal with every chapter of your life.  The good ones and the bad, they all have a message.

That to me was how to fill holes in your chapters.   For instance,  facing your fear or your past will give you a better understanding of who you are and why you feel the way you do now.

Fear and Vulnerability

One big fear is vulnerability.  Being taken advantage of or tricked, that fear never seems to go away.  Yet,  that too can be filled.

The vulnerabilities we face in our lives will be the same things that picks us up, dusts us off and drives us forward.  However, how we choose to use that is up to us.   We can use it to make us happier again or drive us to be more destructive.

Tools For You to Gather

Choosing Fear

A natural fear is in us all.  The fear of falling or having no control.  But, those fears can keep us from harm.   Hence,  we need to be aware of our fear and learn to choose how it will affect us.

Is there something we can do to change that fear, to have it help us instead of keeping us in harm’s way?

Another fear is not facing our challenges.  A lot of those fears can be overcome if we give it a little effort.  For instance,  trying something new or taking that first step.  You will find it comes easier the more you do it and the fear will disappear.

Taking Care of Fear

Taking fear away from your day to day life can add happiness and an even road.  Have you ever sat down and looked at your life and wondered?    Think if fear drives holes in your chapters, how do you fill them.

From here there is a workbook I put together that should help with this.  Have a look.

Keep smiling

Sandy
