We all have heard about the tree of life, and the many different versions of it. Yet, have you gotten inspiration through a tree that will stick to what you are wanting to achieve?
I have had this vision up on my wall for many years. However, today I was reading a studybook and it popped up again. Looking at it from a different angle I got to thinking.
Let me break it all down for you and you can see what I am now calling my “Growth – Vision – Inspiring Tree”!
- We are going to start with the roots. Everything in life needs a foundation that is strong and supportive. In other words, this is where we find our beliefs, our values, our expectations, and our culture. Your overall radiant survivor mode.
This needs to be watered and fed to make it strong and guide you along your journey.
- We work up the trunk. Some call it the WHY part of the vision. This is your intention. In other words, why are you doing it?
This needs to be crystal clear or you will stumble and not grow in a certain direction.
Have you seen the trunks that look confused before they grow tall? Those that are all twisted and mangled? Do you imagine what happened to make it grow that way?
- Then comes the branches. The mission to answer WHAT! What are my goals? For Instance, clarify what I can do to make my intentions work.
This can be things like training, and goal setting or reaching out for help. Like the branches reach out in many directions.
- Finally, to make our tree great, is the leaves and the fruit. This is our HOW, the breakthrough.
Within this part of our tree we have our techniques, our fitness training, our body language, our behaviors and mostly our inner talk. These are the things we work toward, yet if you do not have your why and what, you may falter and dwindle on your how.
When we see this layed out in front of us, our goal or life starts to shine and flows much better. However, if you do not have a good foundation and belief from the ground up, your tree will topple and never grow to maturity and strength.
Let the end of the journey be a magnet for you to get inspiration through a tree!
Sandy
