Balance is the harmony of mind and body. Hence, to learn how to have a complete driving force to live, you need to be balanced.
I have been working on some goals and challenges through this winter season. The weather outside is ugly so time to focus on me. In other words, I am working on myself! My eating, my weight, my posture, and my golf game. HeHe, yes I said golf game. I have found it is a great tool to help with overall body workout.
Live Life Balanced
Try standing on one foot for more than a minute. Okay, some of you can, but I was having issues. Then try standing on one foot and turning your head. Did you fall over?
That has been a challenge, but I have also learned some important aspects of it. Balance is your center, your focus control of everything around you. Hence a complete driving force!
Driving Force To Life
Balance isn’t just standing straight, or on one leg or the other. It is centered in your legs, eyes, ears and nervous system. You feel it in all your parts. Here is an exercise that I am working on.
Standing up straight and tall. As you pull up one leg, focus on different parts of your body. Can you feel when you lose control and when you have full support?
Your balance comes from the inner and outer senses. You find that you sense things inside and outside of your skin. In other words, you actually feel each part of your body helping to set you straight.
Focus Balancing
There are many different ways of balancing. Hence, you become aware of your tempo, your tension, your thoughts and your feelings.
Balance can be shown to others through your body language. Are you standing tall and showing confidence or are you holding yourself back and hiding? For instance, as you go through your day, I want you to see how you are affected by things around you. Do you get the feeling that things move you in different ways? That comes down to balance of life.
I have written a workbook about creating balance to having a healthy lifestyle, but I never put the mindset to the body before. It has been a great way to change your vision on things. I challenge you again to find your inner and outer balance. Having a complete driving force to live life balanced can change so many things.
Stand up straight on one leg and let the world know who you are.
