Have you ever had to concentrate on something every time you did it? So, what counts when it’s time?
I was thinking of this and wished it could be simpler. Something I do over and over and yet my subconscious does something else. Can’t it just work the way I practiced?
Practice To Make It Count
I am one who needs lots of study time to learn. Yep, read it, write it down, read it and then write it and read it again. Hence, through my years I have learned how to study for what I really want. Even if it takes time and concentration.
With your way of learning, start to practice to make it count. Someone mentioned an idea that has stuck with me and I wanted to pass it on to you. “Learn it – Do it and Teach it”! That makes so much sense to me anyway.
When you learn something of interest or you want to remember it, start to do it. As you do, then start to teach it, as you work out ways to help someone else, you will see what counts when it’s time to get it right.
Count on Your Subconscious.
Your subconscious mind is always working on ways to help you. Things you have learned in the past will start showing up. When you have an idea or thought it will take over and give you the scenario that it knows best.
Have you ever noticed that when you are thinking of something or saying something, all of a sudden you start seeing it or think of ways to accomplish that. In other words, what you think is what your brain does.
We need to form a habit so that the best can be brought out when needed. Positive thoughts bring positive outcomes. For instance, when you say or think of something good, good things will happen, and vis-a-versa.
It’s Time
We always need to keep learning and practicing in life to grow, so set a goal, practice, place all that knowledge in your brain and get out there. For instance, I read that to keep your brain young and healthy, you need to learn a new skill as often as you can.
Now that you set your goal, the time has come! Are you ready? Probably not, but get out there and do it, for if you don’t how will you know? Work with the things that are in your brain and find your weaknesses. This will show you how to improve.
There is one big piece of advice I will share! Always have a smile on your face, even when it goes disastrously wrong for then you will remember the positive things and not the bad ones. Write them all down and learn to make it count when it’s time.
Keep smiling
Sandy
