This week my life has felt like it was a mess. It was put into a shaker bottle and thrown around. When the spinning slowed down I wondered if it was time to give up or dive in.
I have learned through the past that you keep things around you that make you smile and keep you on track. Well, that is what got me settled once again.
Time to Give Up
I’m not sure about you but I don’t like to give up. I wouldn’t let my kids either. Once you start something you have to finish, right?
Maybe not always. This is the point where you throw your hands in the air and scream. It helps for a while, if I do say so. But that might stop what is going on but you are not giving up.
The time to give up is time to analyze what is happening. By collecting your thoughts and looking at where you are. Then decide your choice of a new direction.
Time to Dive In
There is a solution to every problem you just have to dive in and find it.
I am a thinker and an analyzer. I have to-do lists and piles to keep me busy. But that is just me. I like to see what I am doing and working on.
Even though I am adventurous I still have an end goal. Have had too many unknowns in life and I didn’t like it. So, to avoid that I make goals.
Diving in is just knowing what the next step is. How to fix or recreate what is happening. There is always more than one way to fix something.
Your life is centered around you. That gives you the choice to give up or dive in. Yes, I said you have a choice. You can only fix what you are in control of and find that is the solution.
